The D103 Fall Book Fair Is Coming to Sprague School!

Running Friday, Dec. 5 through Friday, Dec. 12, this PTO-sponsored event raises funds used exclusively to purchase new books and resources that enhance our students’ library experience.

Students will preview the Book Fair during their library classes and share a wishlist with families through Seesaw. From 12/5–12/12, students may bring money in a labeled envelope (include first and last name, teacher’s name, and “Book Fair”) to shop during school hours.

Volunteers are needed to ensure this event is a success. Please consider signing up for a shift and helping out.

Families are also invited to shop in person on Thursday, Dec. 11, from 5:00–8:00 p.m. We hope to see you there!

Half Day Fun Fair Returns - Purchase tickets today

Purchase your tickets for the Half Day Fun Fair on Friday, January 23, from 6:30–8:30 PM at Half Day School and enjoy a night packed with fun! Each child’s $15 advance ticket includes access to 30+ carnival games, inflatables, and activities, plus prizes, one serving each of popcorn and cotton candy, and a souvenir cup. Tickets purchased at the door will be $20.

A single slice of pizza per student is available for purchase and must be ordered in advance—please select either cheese or gluten-free when ordering. There will be limited pizza available for sale the day of the event. All students must attend with an adult parent or chaperone, though parents and chaperones do not need a ticket to attend. Carpooling is highly encouraged due to limited on-site parking.

This event is for Half Day students only.

6th grade social dance returns in January

Get ready for a favorite 6th-grade tradition at Daniel Wright! The PTO is excited to bring back Social Dance Lessons, where students learn the Foxtrot, Cha Cha, Electric Slide, Waltz, and more. It’s fun, confidence-building, and a great way to make lasting memories—we hope your student joins in!

Cost: $75 per student (includes all classes; non-refundable)
Dates: 1/9, 1/16, 1/23, 1/30, 2/6 (Snow/Weather Date: 2/13)
Time: 7:15–8:30 PM
Location: Daniel Wright Cafeteria
Dress Code: Appropriate attire required—dress pants, collared shirt, blouse, dress, or skirt.

The PTO Cares Fund supports individuals in the D103 community facing financial challenges. It helps with basic needs and participation in school activities. D103 administrators may discreetly inform the PTO of specific needs, and the PTO Executive Board can then provide assistance. Please consider donating to the PTO Cares Fund.
