• Jess Levine will facilitate a parent discussion centered on technological boundaries, relationships, and social media.

 

• Abraham Garcia will facilitate a student discussion on internet safety, covering topics such as boundaries, the pros and cons of technology use, the legality of sexting, and the development of a technological safety plan.

 

Part II - Large Group Session: Healthy Relationships

 

• Parents and students will reunite to explore strategies for establishing a strong foundation for healthy adolescent relationships.

 

 

 

 

Eighth-grade families may now purchase graduation T-shirts. These commemorative T-shirts have been designed with our class spirit in mind. All graduate names are listed on the back of the shirt. They are a perfect way to showcase your pride and unity as members of the Daniel Wright Junior High School Class of 2025. Order by Friday, Jan. 17. Purchased T-shirts will be handed out at the school in February.

 

 

 

The PTO is happy to present Social Dance Lessons to Daniel Wright's 6th grade students!  They will learn how to dance the Foxtrot, Cha-Cha, Electric Slide, Waltz and more!  Lessons will be held on Friday evenings and taught by a professional whom the PTO has worked with in previous years. Come and join this popular PTO program!

 

Cost:  $70 fee per student which includes all classes (non-refundable)

Dates: 1/17, 1/24, 1/31 and 2/7

Time:  8:15 - 9:30 PM

Location: Daniel Wright Cafeteria

Dress Code: Appropriate attire required. Dress pants, collared shirt, blouse, dress or skirt.

Step right up! Half Day Fun Fair TICKETS ARE ON SALE NOW!

 

This cherished event will take place on Friday, January 24th from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM at Half Day School for 3rd-5th graders.

 

Tickets are on sale now. Each child's $15 ticket price includes over 30 different carnival games, inflatables, and activities along with prizes, one serving of popcorn and cotton candy, as well as a souvenir cup and drawstring bag.

 

All students MUST attend with an adult chaperone. Carpooling is encouraged. Parents/chaperones do not require a ticket to accompany the kids they are with. We need MANY volunteers! You will be there with your kids anyway so please consider volunteering for a shift.

 

This event is for Half Day Students only.

 

 

 

 

The Run for D103 5K Run/Walk is a family-friendly, annual fundraising event that enables the Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) to provide the Lincolnshire-Prairie View School District 103 with programs and equipment for the benefit of our children. This race is representative of our district's commitment to foster both healthy minds and healthy bodies in our children and to instill a lifelong passion for education and exercise.
